We are responsible breeders and as such require that the new families of our puppies will be responsible pet owners.  We
only place our puppies in homes that have demonstrated to us a strong interest and capacity to provide a lifetime
commitment to one of our special puppies.
Our dogs interact with our family on a daily basis whether it be at play or work retrieving waterfowl.

All of our pups and dogs are socialized with children of all ages. They are also raised outside with adequate shelter. We do
this for many reasons. Above all it is for their health. We could never expect a dog to hunt on a winters morning or dive into a
stream or river without the proper acclamation.  In the winter they have thick warm coats and shed the undercoat in the
summer.  They are exposed to loud noises as well as other noises.

Our pups are sold on limited  AKC registration.  Full registration may be available with approval.

Deposit & Payment
All deposits are NON REFUNDABLE. If a deposit is paid on a puppy and the final payment is not received by the date due,
and prior written arrangements have not been made, Seller has the right to keep the deposit and sell the puppy to another
party.  Full payment for the puppy must be received before the puppy will be given to the Buyer. A Sales Contract must be
signed by both parties.

A deposit of $200.00 will hold your puppy of choice.  Choosing a pup will come on a first come first served basis.  Because
we feel that the true personality of a pup doesn't begin to show until 4 weeks, we will take reservations on a specific pup until
then unless prior arrangements have been made and approved by both parties.

Cash or payment through PayPal only. Payment in full is required prior to picking up the puppy.

Health Guarantee
All puppies from Desert River Labradors come with a 5 day money-back health guarantee. You will be reimbursed for the
cost of the puppy if you have met the following criteria (transportation costs and other expenses are not reimbursable) :
You must obtain a certified letter (the vet's letterhead is fine) from a licensed veterinarian within 5 days of receiving your puppy
which explains the condition of your puppy and the reason your vet believes you should be reimbursed. Reimbursement will
be provided when the puppy and the starter kit (minus the food you gave to the puppy) are returned within 5 days along with
the note from the vet.  If you live farther away than 100 miles, then I will allow 2 more days for you to return the puppy.

We DO NOT guarantee any puppy against Parvo or any other viral illness 48 hours after leaving our property.  These
diseases are extremely contagious and can be contracted immediately after leaving our property.  We have no control of the
puppies exposure.  Please make sure to properly vaccinate your puppies and to limit their outside contact until the whole
series is completed.

The Buyer will be provided with puppies health information including 1st vaccinations and all deworming and type of meds.

Visiting our Puppies
We ask that you make arrangements ahead of time for your visit.  You can call or contact us by email.  We are a busy
family household and wouldn't want you to miss us!

Before arriving we ask that you do not visit any other kennel, facility or pet store.  The reason for this is to limit viral germs that
may be present.  You will be asked to use hand sanitizer as well as dip your shoes in a bleach water solution.  This is all for
the health of the pups and your possible future puppy.

The Bottom Line
Basically we just want our pups to have wonderful homes.  We just love this breed and wish to spread the joy of ownership.  
Despite the formalities above, we are really just a casual bunch around here and are willing to work with anyone to ensure
good homes for our babies.
